(I'm setting this up early because I'm in a meeting all day and have no idea when I'll be home. Plus, I'll likely watch the Emmys tonight - If I'm lucky - and catch up on Mad Men tomorrow evening.)

Season 3, Episode 6: "Guy Walks Into an Advertising Agency"
A surprise visitor shows up at Sterling Cooper; Sally gets spooked by something (or someone); and Joan is the recipient of some surprising news.

As always, remember to track the conversation.

The maiming of Guy's foot was supposed to be at least a little funny, right? If it had happened to some character we liked, it would have been different. But, for whatever it says about me, I laughed out loud at that.

I love Roger's little journey through this episode. He agrees to the sitdown with Don. Don makes all the concessions, so Roger's feeling good again. Then, he's not even on the org chart; he's literally scribbled into the margin. Marginalized. ;-) He needs Cooper to tell him "we took their money, we have to do what they say."

Notably, Roger is positively chipper as the blood is being wiped off the window. He knows he just reascended that chart.

"He might lose his foot."
"Right when he got it in the door."
