As he's talking to the "attorney general," accepting fake congratulations for his moral fortitude, he puffs away on his cigarette. I like that, because it underscored the distinction between what he said in the paper (we quit tobacco) and what he intended to do (save the agency).

No, it wasn't. But I'm with you guys: I loved it.

Don and Daniel are similar in that way -- I've said Daniel Graystone with a solution is like a dog with a bone. Once he has that idea and he sees the path to what he wants, he goes for it -- damn the collateral damage. And they both might consider those around them wailing and waving their hands to be inferior minds.
Definitely. He asked the partners "So no one is happy with this?" But, as I mentioned above, it mattered to him what Peggy thought of it.
